There are a lot of major changes in the works over in Disney World, specifically at Animal Kingdom!

The construction is well underway for the all-new Tropical Americas-themed land called Pueblo Esperanza, and we now have an exciting permit update!
This new land is set to feature Encanto and Indiana Jones. Disney has just filed two permits regarding the new Indiana Jones attraction. And it means the set installation phase has begun!

The description of both of these permits state “Install Set Elements,” and the two contractors set to complete the work are Adirondack Scenic, who Disney has worked with before, and specialize in scenic fabrication. The other is Scenario, another scenic company that specializes in themed entertainment!

So what exactly does “Set Elements” mean? Basically, it is all of the physical components that establish the ride’s environment, such as scenery, props, facades, rock work, etc.

This update is so exciting and means that construction is really getting underway for this highly anticipated attraction! So far, Disney has confirmed that on the attraction, we will be following Indy on an adventure through a Maya Temple.

This attraction is set to open sometime in 2027, but Disney has not yet released an official opening date. We cannot wait to experience this attraction and the rest of Tropical Americas!

We make sure to keep you posted on all the Disney construction updates, so stay tuned to AllEars so you never miss anything!
