A Popular Hotel Perk Is Returning to Disney World This Month

One of the best parts of staying at a Disney World resort is the hotel perks that you get, and one BIG perk is returning soon.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

All year long, Disney resort guests have been able to take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, free transportation, and advanced booking for Lightning Lanes. But with summer approaching, there is one perk that many guests are excited about — free water park tickets!

That’s right — If you’re staying at a Disney resort this summer, you can head to the water parks totally for free! From May 26th until September 8th, 2026, Disney World hotel guests will receive free water park access on the day they check into their hotel.

Blizzard Beach

Every guest who is listed on your hotel room will get a ticket to Disney’s water parks, either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. If you need to store your luggage, you can drop it off at your hotel and head straight to the water park. It’s important to remember that luggage isn’t permitted in the Disney water parks or on Disney buses, so store it if you need to!

Disney World has two water parks, but throughout most of the year, only one is open at any given time. When Blizzard Beach reopened on February 15th, Typhoon Lagoon closed. Recently, we learned that Typhoon Lagoon would reopen on May 15th, with Blizzard Beach also being open, so you’ll be able to visit both water parks throughout the summer
