Universal Orlando is seriously spoiling their hotel guests, and we’re absolutely here for it.

We’ve been watching these perks stick around year after year, and honestly, we keep wondering how long they’ll last. In an era where theme park perks seem to be disappearing left and right, the fact that Universal is still offering these incredible benefits to hotel guests has us genuinely amazed. Here are the two major perks that Universal Resort guests get to enjoy that feel almost too good to be true.
Free Package Delivery to Your Hotel Room
This one is such a game-changer because it’s exactly the kind of convenience that makes a vacation feel truly relaxing. Universal Resort guests can buy literally anything they want in the theme parks and have it sent straight back to their hotel instead of lugging shopping bags around all day. The packages typically show up at the front desk or directly in your room, which means you can shop to your heart’s content without actually carrying anything.

Think about it. You spot that perfect Hogwarts robe or that collectible wand you’ve been eyeing, and instead of carrying it through the humid Florida heat for the next six hours, you just ask them to send it to your hotel. It’s such a simple perk, but it makes a massive difference when you’re trying to enjoy your day hands-free.

Disney World used to offer this service, but discontinued it after the COVID-19 closure, which makes us extra grateful that Universal has kept it going. It clearly takes effort and resources to maintain, so we’re genuinely appreciative they haven’t scaled it back. Take advantage while you can.
Free Universal Express Unlimited at Premium Hotels
Now this is the big one that really makes our jaws drop in the best way possible. If you stay at one of Universal’s top-tier hotels (Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, or Loews Royal Pacific Resort), you get Universal Express Unlimited passes for your entire party for the length of your stay. Completely free. Included with your room.

For context, this level of perk isn’t standard at Disney World’s deluxe resorts. Universal is essentially giving you unlimited front-of-the-line access just for booking one of their premier hotels, which feels incredibly generous.
Universal Express Unlimited normally costs a pretty penny when you buy it separately, especially during peak seasons. Getting it included with your hotel stay can genuinely save you hundreds of dollars per trip, and it completely changes how you experience the parks. You can ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure multiple times in one day without spending hours in standby lines.

This perk is so valuable that we keep expecting it might get modified or limited somehow as the parks continue growing in popularity. The fact that Universal has maintained this benefit shows they’re really committed to giving their premium hotel guests an exceptional experience, and we absolutely love that.

So if you’ve been on the fence about staying at a Universal hotel, now is definitely the time to book. These perks are incredible, and while we hope they stick around forever, it’s always smart to take advantage of amazing benefits while they’re available. In the theme park world, perks this good are worth celebrating.

4 Ways You’ll Need to Pack Differently for Universal Orlando in 2026
Are you taking advantage of these perks on your next Universal trip? Let us know in the comments!

Free Universal Express Passes were required by Loews and put into the contract by them before they agreed to build the three premiere hotels in the first place. Because it was in the initial contract, Universal can’t take this perk away from guests even though they might like to. Notice that this perk is not included in a stay at the Grand Helios because Universal realized all the money they were leaving on the table from their previous agreement. We pay for hotel rooms in one of the premiere hotels for the free Express Passes even though we sometimes don’t even stay in the rooms. If there is a party of four which is the maximum allowed in rooms with two beds, the room cost is less than the cost of four Express Passes.
