Disneyland comes with a whole bunch of bucket list items, but one in particular is catered towards Disney Adults.
Sure, it may be on your list to get on the Indiana Jones Adventure thrill ride or dine at Blue Bayou, but if you’ve never visited this “exotic” Disneyland Hotel bar, you’re truly missing out.
If you hop on over to the Disneyland Hotel, tucked away next to the pool, you’ll find the famous Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar!
This small restaurant offers “mystery, romance and adventure” based on the world-famous Jungle Cruise, along with special cocktails and a full menu of delicious eats.
Open to the public — including non-Disneyland Hotel guests — this bar becomes extra exclusive after 8 PM, when guests MUST be 21 years of age or older. That’s when it’s the PERFECT time to get a nightcap!
This kid-free experience offers a fun bar experience with lively servers, interactive scenic elements, fun drinks that bring the bar to life when you order them, tropical vibes, and lots of mischief that make you feel like a grown-up kid.
As I previously mentioned, you don’t have to have a Disneyland Hotel reservation to enjoy this (although I do recommend actually making a restaurant reservation since the bar is so small and so in-demand).
I also suggest visiting if it’s your birthday for extra shenanigans! Not everyone knows about this tucked-away, hidden Disneyland bar…and maybe that’s for the best. This lounge is absolutely addicting!
We try to make our way over to Trader Sam’s whenever we can, and it’s always a treat!
