We’re back in Disneyland to try another Halloween treat, and if we’re being honest, these are some of our favorite park days!

Who doesn’t love trying the new Disney desserts around the parks? Well, not all of them are winners, but you never know what is going to become your new favorite treat, and that anticipation keeps us on our toes. So, what’s the verdict for this new GREEN funnel cake — will it be a winner, or one we wish we could forget about trying?
Head on over to Stage Door Cafe to try the new Monster Funnel Cake for $10.29! This is Green Funnel Cake with Chocolate Sauce, Crumbled Brownie, Peanut Butter Candy Pieces, and Whipped Cream.

The main flavor here is definitely chocolate! The brownie has a lighter and sweeter chocolate flavor, which pairs well with the sauce’s strong, rich chocolate flavor. Since the whole funnel cake is covered in the sauce, you’ll get that rich flavor with practically every bite. Also, can we talk about the PERFECT Mickey Mouse whipped cream dollop? Ten points to the Cast Member who made it!

The whipped cream was great because its light texture and refreshing vanilla flavor helped cut out some of that richness. The Reese’s Pieces on top added a creamy peanut butter flavor that mixed in well with the chocolate, and overall, we weren’t disappointed in the slightest. If you’re a chocolate lover, you’ve GOT to try this out! Yes, the appearance is a little, well, freaky. But move past it and DIG IN — you won’t be disappointed.

We also couldn’t taste the green from the food coloring, which we appreciated, because often, that will ruin a treat for us.
