A MASSIVE Perk Is Back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has become a must-do park for thrill-seekers, movie buffs, and Star Wars fans alike, so it’s a BIG deal that this perk is returning to this popular park.

From the edge-of-your-seat excitement in Galaxy’s Edge to the nostalgic magic of Toy Story Land and the classic glitz of Hollywood Boulevard, this park is sure to bring lots of memories. But there’s an even better way to enjoy it — when there are low wait times. Luckily, Disney is returning a popular perk to give certain guests that opportunity. I’ve been going to Disney World for decades, and this is one of the best perks Disney offers.

Get ready, Disney World insiders: a massive perk is officially back at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it couldn’t come at a better time. This is your reminder that Extended Evening Hours returned as of August 29th, 2025.  Extended Evening Hours is a perk exclusive to guests staying at a Deluxe Resort at Disney World, and it gives these guests extra time in the park once it has closed to day guests.

The hours will run from 9 PM to 11 PM on the nights this perk is available. This perk is available to Disney Deluxe Resorts and Villas as well as other hotels! You can see the full list below.

Before summer, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT were the ones that got this exclusive perk, but when Halloween parties kick off, Hollywood Studios will take center stage. The calendar now showed Extra Evening Hours on Friday, August 29th, followed by Wednesdays in September (10th, 17th, 24th) and October (1st and 8th). That’s BIG news if you’re staying at eligible resorts this fall.

What makes Hollywood Studios such a great spot for this benefit? With its compact layout and high-demand attractions like Slinky Dog Dash, Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Toy Story Mania, and more. You can breeze through fan-favorite rides with minimal waits under the nighttime sky.
