REVIEW: This Is Your Sign to Stop Skipping This French Fry Paradise in Disney Springs.

Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Korean BBQ!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by The Daily Poutine at Disney Springs and are bringing you our FULL review!

Background

The Daily Poutine

The Daily Poutine offers food that is inspired by the popular Canadian dish, poutine. Poutine consists of French Fries, cheese curds, and gravy. There are many things you can add to it to make it unique, but that’s the base requirement for poutine.

The quick service place offers many variations, including Butter Chicken, Korean Barbecue, Buffalo Chicken, and original Canadian. It’s one of our favorite places to hit at Disney Springs for a quick bite, especially since there aren’t many places to grab food like this. The other place you will find poutine in Disney World is The Refreshment Port in EPCOT.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.

Atmosphere

The Daily Poutine

The dining spot is a quick-service kiosk located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs. You’ll find it between World of Disney and the LEGO store. The place offers outdoor seating, but not a lot of it.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!

Food & Drinks

First up, we grabbed the Canadian Poutine for $10.49. This is made with French Fries, Beef Poutine Gravy, and Cheddar Curds. We felt like the fries were a tad dry — they could’ve used a lot more gravy, it would’ve really boosted the flavor.

Canadian Poutine!

The white cheese curds were good, and there were a lot of them. The only problem was that the cheese was all bunched together. So you’d get a couple of bites in the middle of the poutine that are almost too cheesy, whereas the rest didn’t have enough. The cheese is also pretty firm, so it felt like a clump of cheese.

It was tasty!

Next, we tried the Butter Chicken Poutine for $10.49. This is made with French Fries, Chicken, Tomato Curry Sauce, and Paneer Cheese. This was very good! The chicken tasted fresh, the fries were great, and the cheese was great. It was the perfect mix of butter chicken and fries — giving you plenty of both!

Butter Chicken Poutine!

The butter chicken has a little bit of a kick to it. It’s not too spicy or anything like that, but if you’re sensitive to spice, you may want to go with a different option.

We loved this one!

We also had the Korean Barbecue for $10.49. This is made with French Fries, Asian Barbecued Pulled Pork, Kimchi, and Sriracha Aïoli. This was surprisingly sweet! All the poutines were very savory, whereas this one was both sweet and savory. The pulled pork was super soft and easy to chew on. The mix with the fries was just perfect.

Korean BBQ!

There were quite a few veggies in it, and they were a great add, giving the dish a little bit of a crunch. This wasn’t spicy at all, and the sriracha aïoli had an excellent taste to it.

It had a sweet flavor!

Last, but not least, the Buffalo Chicken Poutine for $10.49. This is made with French Fries with Chicken Bites tossed in Buffalo Sauce, Garlic Ranch, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Carrots, Celery, and Fries. As far as buffalo chicken goes, this one was a little different. At first, it didn’t taste spicy at all, but then we realized all the buffalo chicken sauce was at the bottom of the dish.

Buffalo Chicken Poutine!

Not only did it make holding the dish soggy, but all the spiciness hits you in one spot. You didn’t get a taste of the sauce from anywhere, except the fries at the bottom. We weren’t a fan of that, but it could’ve also just been how ours turned out. Out of all four dishes, this one we probably wouldn’t get again. We liked the vegetables that came with it (carrots and celery).

We wouldn’t need this one again.

Magic or Tragic?

This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…

  • You’re looking for poutine! There aren’t many spots to find poutine, not only at Disney World, but in Florida. If you’re looking to try the popular Canadian dish, come to this spot — especially because they have different flavors here.
  • You’re at Disney Springs and want to eat something! This is for sure up there in terms of quick-service food at Disney Springs.
  • You’re looking for something quick and easy! This is a quick-service location, so you won’t lose much time in your busy day to get this.

You should skip this Disney World spot if…

  • You’re not in the mood for fries! All they have here is poutine, so everything has fries.
  • You want a larger variety of options! The menu here is pretty limited, so if you want a wider selection of choices, we recommend going somewhere else.
Here’s what we got!

We liked the unique poutine options! This is one of those spots that we’ll be at from time to time when we’re at Disney Springs.

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
