NEW Changes Arrive at Disney’s All-Star Hotel Food Court, and You’re Gonna LOVE Them!

Hello from Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort! You might be wondering what we’re doing at a random Value Resort on this fine day, and, spoiler alert, we’re not here for a hotel room.

The All-Star Movies Resort has been under construction for a LONG time. For months, the food court area was blocked off for a refurbishment project and has slowly been reopening in phases. Now, the final phase of construction has ENDED. To celebrate, Disney even announced some brand-new snacks! Let’s see what’s new.

 

Let’s start with a little bit of background. When we said this was a long, ongoing project, we weren’t kidding. The World Premiere Food Court was supposed to partly reopen on July 31st, but the project was delayed until mid-October. For several months, visitors had to deal with construction walls and temporary seating areas.

Finally, during a visit in early December, this food court started looking better.

Back on December 20th, there was one section of the food court that was still closed: the Rialto Coffee and Ice Cream counter. Those tarps weren’t very nice to look at, so we were ready for this project to be over.

Well, finally, the refurbishment is complete! The Rialto Coffee area is OPEN for business.

This spot will serve a new At the Movies Ice Cream Bucket…

…Mickey Everything Chocolate Chip Cookie…

…and a Salted Caramel Churro Shake. Stay tuned for our full review of all the new items!

Here’s another peek at the rest of the food court. As you can see, it’s VERY bright in there. When the construction team asked how many lights Disney wanted, Disney said, “ALL OF THEM.”

This food court has some pretty good options! There’s nothing like a Showstopper Burger with bacon-onion jam, cheddar, provolone, jalapeño, and crispy onions after a long day at the theme parks.
