A Disney World food court is reopening!

Everything Pop Shopping and Dining includes Disney’s Pop Century Resort’s gift shop and food court. It has one of our favorite cheesecakes at Disney World, and we’re so excited that it will be fully reopened starting today! However, World Premiere Food Court at Disney’s All-Stars Movies Resort and other attractions will remain closed the week of September 29th through October 6th.
Disclaimer: Everything Pop was scheduled to reopen on September 29th, however, the refurbishment has been delayed until November 30th.
Everything Pop Food Court — Pop Century Resort
Everything Pop Food Court is a surprisingly great place to grab a bite of food if you’re staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

However, this food court has been under construction since July 29th. But it is supposed to reopen to its full capacity today, September 29th! While it was undergoing refurbishment, you were still able order food and drinks here via mobile order on the Disney World app. However, the menu was limited and guests had to use alternate entrances. But this should no longer be the case!

Magic Kingdom
Jungle Cruise
It’s no joke, the Jungle Cruise closed in Magic Kingdom on August 26th!

The ride will be temporarily closed until October 16th. We’ll miss this punny ride while it’s closed! If you’re missing the Skippers as much as us, you can always visit them at Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom or at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. A trip to Magic Kingdom just isn’t the same without those silly Skipper jokes!
Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade
The opening day attraction, the Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, officially closed on June 23rd.

This closure is to make room for a new DVC lounge that will soon be coming to Frontierland. This will be the third DVC lounge in Disney World, but we don’t have an opening date, yet.
Tomorrowland Terrace
Tomorrowland Terrace is a restaurant in Magic Kingdom that has usually only been open occasionally, generally during particularly busy seasons. However, it’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen this spot open at all.

Currently, it’s only used for Magic Kingdom fireworks dessert parties, and there’s no word on when it might serve food again.

EPCOT
Test Track
Test Track closed on June 17th and we don’t have any information about its reopening date or timeline yet. The ride is being reimagined! Disney recently released more details and announced that the ride will reopen in 2025!

We know that the ride will continue to be a partnership with Chevrolet and that they will be taking some inspiration from the original ride World of Motion.
Restaurant Marrakesh
Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco pavilion of World Showcase is closed as the restaurant it used to be. From time-to-time, Disney will reopen it as a lounge, and now it being used as the Florida Blue Lounge for the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival!

However, we’re still waiting for the full dining experience to return to this restaurant.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
The Voyage of the Little Mermaid as we know it will NOT return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s closed now, and Disney has confirmed that this show has permanently closed to make way for an updated version.

“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure”, an all-new stage show, will replace the show in the Animation Courtyard theater in Fall 2024.

Disney World Hotels
World Premiere Food Court — All-Star Movies Resort
The World Premiere Food Court was supposed to officially reopen on July 31st, however that was not the case.

Disney recently updated its website to say that the refurbishment will be ongoing until mid-October. Throughout this refurbishment the restaurant hasn’t been totally closed! You can still use mobile order to choose food items off a limited menu and seating is available at the food court and at the arcade. We’ll keep you posted on its full reopening!

Blizzard Beach
Typhoon Lagoon was closed for several months but finally opened on March 17th, 2024! Woo hoo!

However, on that same day (March 17th) Blizzard Beach closed for refurbishments. But now we know when Blizzard Beach will be reopening! The two will flip-flop again on November 4th when Blizzard Beach reopens and Typhoon Lagoon closes for the winter season.

You have a couple more months to enjoy Typhoon Lagoon before it closes and Blizzard Beach opens once again!
