Disney World has moved up the reopening timeline at several resort hotels following Hurricane Milton.

In preparation for Hurricane Milton, Disney World closed all of the parks, Disney Springs, and some of the resort hotel areas for the safety of guests and Cast Members. Most of Disney World reopened on Friday, October 11th, including the theme parks and Disney Springs. But some areas were scheduled to remain closed for a bit longer.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa were two of the places that did not reopen with most of the resort on Friday, October 11th.

Initially, Disney announced that both would remain closed until Monday, October 14th. But the reopening timeline for these two locations has now been bumped up!

According to the Disney World website, both Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs Resort are now scheduled to reopen on Sunday, October 13th.

With Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park reopening this morning, that means most of the resort will be operating as originally scheduled by the end of this weekend.

We’ll continue to be on the lookout for any additional updates from the parks in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest info!
