Disney World nighttime entertainment is great, but you often have to deal with crowds to watch a lot of shows.

Not only that, but you also need to grab your spot or get in line early to catch certain shows because they’re so popular. One way that you can avoid this, though, is by booking a dining package that gets you a guaranteed seat for that show. The Fantasmic! Dining Package is one example, but we’ve got some good news and bad news about it.
First, we’ll explain what the Fantasmic! Dining Package currently includes. You’ll pay a preset price for a meal that includes either a full buffet, one non-alcoholic drink, and a voucher for a reserved seat at a showing of Fantasmic! The dining package could save you time because you won’t have to wait in line to grab a seat at the show.

Disney just revealed that as of August 29th, the Fantasmic! Dining Package is changing. The price for adults will be going up, but that price will also include the choice between a non-alcoholic beverage or an alcoholic beverage for anyone 21 and up.

Here’s how the prices are changing: For, 50’s Prime Time Cafe, you’ll get one entree, one dessert, a non-alcoholic drink or an alcoholic drink for 21+, and a voucher for reserved seating. The price will go up for adults from $54 per person to $60 per person. The price per child is $23.

At Hollywood & Vine, you’ll get a full buffet, a non-alcoholic drink or an alcoholic drink for 21+, and a voucher for reserved seating. The breakfast price will go up for adults from $59 to $65 per person. The child price is $39. For lunch and dinner, the price will go up for adults from $75 to $81 per person, while the price for children is $49.

At Mama Melrose’s, you’ll get one entree, one dessert, a non-alcoholic drink or an alcoholic drink for 21+, and a voucher for reserved seating. The price will go up for adults from $56 per person to $62 per person. The price per child is $23.

At Sci-Fi Dine-In you’ll get one entree, one dessert, a non-alcoholic drink or an alcoholic drink for 21+, and a voucher for reserved seating. The price will go up for adults from $51 per person to $57 per person. The price per child is $23.

At Hollywood Brown Derby, you’ll get one entree, one dessert, a non-alcoholic drink or an alcoholic drink for 21+, and a voucher for reserved seating. The price will go up for adults from $77 per person to $83 per person. The price per child is $31.

You can also use Disney Dining Plan credits for Fantasmic! Dining Packages. You’ll spend one table service credit for all the restaurants on the Disney Dining Plan, except for Hollywood Brown Derby, which will cost two table service credits.
Note that you will still need a valid park ticket to enter Hollywood Studios for your meal and Fantasmic! showing. Select visitors will also need to make a park pass reservation for Hollywood Studios on the day of their reservation.

You can make reservations for the Fantasmic! Dining Package on the My Disney Experience app or the Disney World website.
