Magic Kingdom entertainment has seen a lot of updates and changes recently. With cavalcades changing periodically and character locations switching, it can be hard to keep up with all of the updates being made in the Kingdom.
We have gathered all of the latest changes being made to the entertainment offerings in Magic Kingdom and two of them are kinda huge!
Festival of Fantasy!
We love the Festival of Fantasy parade here at AllEars, and it’s about to experience a small change.
The Festival of Fantasy parade celebrates the essence of Fantasyland. You can enjoy the celebration with music, dancing, and lots of Disney characters. Mickey and Minnie greet you in their best fantasy outfits from a hot air balloon float and so much more. And now, you’ll get the chance to enjoy double the excitement!
Starting February 18th, Disney’s Festival of Fantasy parade will go back to two daily showtimes (12 PM and 3 PM). Currently, Festival of Fantasy is only running once a day at 3PM. This change is expected to go until at least March 2nd, as that is as far as Disney World’s calendar goes for now!
Happily Ever After
That’s right, the beloved evening fireworks show over the castle is receiving a slight change.
In a celebration of Disney stories, you can see amazing lights, lasers, fireworks, and special effects over the beautiful Cinderella Castle! Not only are the fireworks awesome, but the projections on the castle tell the best stories of our childhoods.
Starting on March 10th, Happily Ever After moves from an 8 PM showtime to an 8:30 PM showtime! While not a drastic time change, this could make or break your evening if you have little ones. As of right now, park hours are staying the same (9 AM-9 PM), but we’ll keep you updated if anything changes.
Nothing about the offerings themselves is changing besides the times, and we’re really excited about having two time options for the Festival of Fantasy!
