FULL List of What’s Available During After Hours Events at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We’ve already experienced a lot of change at Disney World in 2024…but there’s another exciting one to throw on your plate!

After Hours events are back and ready for action in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The events run on certain nights from January 10th to April 10th, 2024 and there are many perks due to it being a separately ticketed event. Now it’s time to go through everything you can get with the price of your After Hours ticket!

What Are Disney After Hours Events?

Just like Mickey Not So Scary Halloween Party or Jollywood Nights, Disney After Hours are a separately ticketed event that allows you to enjoy light snacks, entertainment, and low wait times in the parks after hours.

In 2024, Disney After Hours are happening at Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom (starting January 11th), and EPCOT (starting February 2nd).

For Disney’s Hollywood Studios, they will happen on select nights from January 4th, 2024 to April 19th, 2024, with tickets available online.

How much do After Hours tickets cost for Hollywood Studios? For 2024, the prices range from $155 to $175 depending on the date, but Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders can get tickets between $125 and $145.

The ticket allows you entry into the park as early as 7PM, though the event officially takes place from 9:30PM to 12:30AM.

What is Available During Disney After Hours?

These are the rides that Disney has listed as available during After Hours, but they could change!

• Alien Swirling Saucers
• Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
• Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
• Slinky Dog Dash
• Star Tours
• Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
• Toy Story Mania!
• Tower of Terror

What Snacks Are Available?

Similar to other After Hours events, you will be able to get a variety of complimentary snacks with admission to Disney After Hours. These will include ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages that you can find at various carts throughout the park.

The carts are located at Grand Avenue, Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, and Toy Story Land.

• Walk-up availability at Oga’s Cantina
• Select bars around the park

What Shops Are Open?

There is an opportunity to do some shopping during After Hours at:

• Tatooine Traders
• The Market Merchants in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
• Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities
• Jessie’s Trading Post
• Tower Hotel Gifts
• Select merchandise on Hollywood Boulevard
• Savi’s Workshop — Handbuilt Lightsabers (first come, first served basis)
• Droid Depot (walk-up availability)

Will Any Shows Be Available?

For entertainment, you will get showtimes available as a regular guest for Fantasmic! Check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes on the day of your event.

The Wonderful World of Animation show takes place at the Chinese Theatre, and will be available at 7:30PM for regular guests and After Hours guests if you get there early.

Also, Disney Movie Magic is available for regular parkgoers and After Hours visitors. Check the app for specific times!

What Characters Will Be There?

There is no guarantee which characters you will see, but usually rare characters are out and about greeting you! For example, we got to meet Pocahontas and Meeko together!
