Several brand NEW restaurants are coming to Disney Word soon!

At the BoardWalk, the Cake Bake Shop is under construction. Summer House on the Lake is also under construction at Disney Springs, and Roundup Rodeo BBQ is set to open soon in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But now we’ve got news about ANOTHER new spot coming to Disney World.
Back in late 2022, Disney announced that a NEW restaurant will be coming to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort — Rosa Mexicano. The restaurant is taking the place of Fresh Mediterranean Market in the Dolphin hotel.

There are current locations of the restaurant in New York, Massachusetts, and other places, but soon a Disney location will join the list.

Previously, Disney had indicated that the restaurant would open in “early 2023,” but now we FINALLY have more details! According to an email sent out by the Swan and Dolphin, Rosa Mexicano will be opening in March of 2023.
Given that we’re swiftly making our way through the month of March, the restaurant only has a few weeks left to meet that deadline.

Jim Dunn, CEO of Rosa Mexicano, said, “The opening reflects our founding chef Josefina Howard’s vision of introducing Mexican culinary traditions and authentic Mexican heritage to the world. Once the restaurant opens, we will offer the Orlando market a fresh take on Mexican food, authentic Mexican heritage, culinary techniques and lively dining.”
The restaurant is supposed to have “an elevated fiesta dining experience, including signature menu items and award-winning margaritas.” Plus, there will be 100 different types of tequila and their signature frozen pomegranate margarita.

There will be a 30-person bar, a private dining room (seats 50), and a main dining room (seats around 300).

We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what we find. For more Disney dining news, see our posts below.
