If you haven’t taken a Disney Cruise Line vacation yet — what are you waiting for?

They’ve got a lot of the same offerings as other cruise lines, but the added experience of Disney-themed dining, character meets, and Disney-quality entertainment onboard. And this year, Disney Cruise Line is turning 25! To celebrate the occasion, there are some new offerings coming soon.
Back in 1998, Disney Cruise Line was the first cruise line to do a fireworks show at sea, and now they’re getting ready for a NEW display. On select “Silver Anniversary at Sea” itineraries, you can catch a limited-time fireworks display featuring a brand-new song for the occasion. The show will be featured on most Bahamian, Caribbean, and Mediterranean cruises this summer.

Also, on one evening each cruise, guests will be invited to join their ship’s captain and cruise director in the atrium for an anniversary toast. The celebration will be attended by Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, all dressed up in new anniversary costumes.

Finally, there’s a special gift just for Castaway Club members. If you sail during the “Silver Anniversary at Sea” you will receive a limited-edition framed art print in your stateroom. The design was created by Disney artist Joe Kaminski, who has works featured in many Disney locations. One 11×14 framed print will be delivered per stateroom.

We can’t wait to see what else is in store for this big anniversary, so stay tuned to AllEars for more details! It’s going to be an exciting summer for Disney Cruise Line.
