Disney World's Latest Treat Gives You an Excuse to Have Dessert For Dinner

Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is in full swing which means that there are over 150 NEW eats and drinks to try throughout the parks and resorts.

We’ve already brought you a look at things like the new POG Dole Whip Float, Peanut Churros, and the GIANT Ice Cream Sundae topped with a full-sized Mickey Pretzel in the parks. But, today we’re heading over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds to check out three WEIRD cupcakes that have arrived on the menu.

As part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations, you can now find the new Chicken Dinner Trio Cupcake over at P&J’s Southern Takeout! But, you might have to be a bit brave to try his new treat because it looks a lot more like dinner than it does dessert!

Each cupcake is made to look like your dinner plate, but they don’t taste that way. The Fried Chicken Cupcake is made with an apple fritter, apple pie moonshine filling, and vanilla buttercream…

…the Peas and Carrots Cupcake has strawberry moonshine custard, white chocolate frosting, and M&Ms mini “peas”…

…and the Mock Mashed Potato Cupcake features a Snickers mousse cupcake, caramel buttercream, and is topped with a yellow Starburst to make it look like butter.

All three cupcakes come together for $9.99, though you’ll want to keep in mind that they are smaller than your normal Disney cupcake (which makes it easier to try them all in one sitting!). You can get them throughout the rest of the 50th anniversary celebrations.
