Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths Are GONE in Magic Kingdom

If you can’t help but scratch your head at the thought of Mickey Pumpkins arriving on Main Street, U.S.A. in early August, then you’ll be happy to know that the fall season officially arrived yesterday — so those pumpkins are totally in season now!

Spooky season!

However, we happened to notice something a bit unusual when we visited Magic Kingdom earlier today! 

As we entered the park and walked “right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.,” we couldn’t help but notice that the Mickey Pumpkin Wreaths are completely GONE and have all been replaced by Cinderella Pumpkin Wreaths! We first spotted a couple of these regal wraths popping up last week, but they have now completely taken over the park!

Cinderella Pumpkins are all over Magic Kingdom now!

We did notice Mickey Pumpkins at the toll plaza when we entered the Magic Kingdom parking area, but guests will no longer spot any of the Mickey Pumpkins inside the park.

You won’t spot any Mickey Pumpkins in Magic Kingdom right now!

Halloween is still well over a month away, and Disney After Hours Boo Bash is still in full swing, so this is quite a change to happen mid-season!

We’ll be on the lookout for more of these little decorative changes around the parks and resorts as Disney World prepares to kickoff its 50th Anniversary Celebration on October 1st!

  1. So disappointed to see this. Was looking forward to taking photos with the Mickey wreaths on my trip in a few weeks. Cinderella is one of my least favorite Disney movies, so I guess I can scratch that off of my to-do list. Would rather see a plain wreath than that awful carriage.

  6. I think the Cinderella pumpkin carriage wreath is very nice, more formal looking for a 50th anniversary. However, the Mickey pumpkins are very cute! I think they will return again after the 50th.
