We’ve been keeping close track of the construction going on over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort over the past year.
Last month, the hotel reopened to all guests with brand new Moana-themed rooms, but both the monorail station and main entrance remained closed for construction. And, now we’ve got another look at the progress!
A few weeks ago, we noticed that Disney had added some colorful additions to the exterior of the monorail station, and today we got a look at the new additions from the inside!
The monorail is not currently stopping at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but it is passing through the station that is being completely redone. And, from inside, you can see that there is still quite a bit of scaffolding in the area and construction crews are hard at work.

…and here’s what the finished product will look like!
So, it seems that there are a few more vibrant panels that need to be added before guests can hop on and off the monorail at the Polynesian, but we’ll continue to keep an eye out for updates!
