PHOTOS: A Missing Animatronic at Disney's Hollywood Studios Has Returned

We’re seeing a lot of pre-shows for Disney World rides coming back recently!

Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster all welcomed back their pre-shows, and now another big ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has seen their’s come back as well!

It looks like the Star Wars pirate Hondo Ohnaka is back from his trip (he went missing from the attraction for a while!) and ready to direct guests again on their flight in the Millennium Falcon! That’s right — the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run pre-show is back!

Last week, the Hondo Ohnaka animatronic went missing, but has since returned for the pre-show. Previously, guests were ushered through the area without the full pre-show intact. In the pre-show Hondo Ohnaka recruits guests as pilots, gunners, and engineers to fly the Millennium Falcon in a smuggling mission!

“I am offering you the opportunity of a lifetime!”

For the last year, Disney has put most pre-shows on pause so that guests don’t gather in crowds before rides. Now, with many regulations easing in general and in Disney World specifically, pre-shows are coming back. Keep following AllEars for the latest Disney news!
