Filled with celebrity meet-and-greets, news releases, exclusive merch, and more, the D23 Expo is one of the biggest Disney events happening this year.

Although the actual Expo itself is sold out and reservations are filled, you don’t have to experience any major FOMO.
You can still be a part of the action, right in the center of the convention without leaving the couch!
In case you don’t know what D23 is, let’s play a little game of catch-up! The name itself is representative of “D” for Disney and “23” for the year 1923, when Walt Disney first founded the magical company. The member-exclusive fan club invites Disney lovers around the world to join and participate in the exclusive events it hosts year-round.
You can find out more about how to join and the membership levels here!

The biggest event that the fan club hosts is the D23 Expo (holla!!). Every two years, the convention is held in Anaheim, where guests are the first people to learn about news like Park transformations, new movie releases from Walt Disney Studios, and more. Oh, yeah — there’s also some AMAZING cosplay from the fans!
Check out everything else the D23 Expo has to offer!

Attending D23 is seriously a blast. And although not not everyone can go be part of the action in Anaheim, there are still ways you can be in the room where it happens… virtually!
First, D23 is offering live-streaming for a few of the panels featured at the Expo! All you have to do is visit D23Expo.com/Live to view your favorite celebrities (Robert Downey, Jr.!!), costumes, music, and more surprises as they happen! The full list of panels being live-streamed includes:
Friday, August 23rd
The 2019 Disney Legends Ceremony — 10:30 AM PST
Behind the Art of Disney Costuming — 4 PM PST
Saturday, August 24th
Women of Impact: Meet the Nat Geo Explorers Changing the World — 10 AM PST
Marvel Comics: Marvel’s 80th Anniversary — 5:30 PM PST
Sunday, August 25th
Heroines of the Disney Galaxies Presented by Boxlunch — 10 AM PST
The Art of Disney Storytelling — 3 PM PST
However, we’re really looking forward to the HUGE releases coming from the Disney+, Walt Disney Studios, and the Disney Parks panels. These are the “big three” of the Expo as they contain some of the most pertinent tidbits of info that might change Disney as we know it.
And if you want to follow along at home, we expect Disney will update Disney Parks Blog as the news breaks, and the official D23 Twitter will likely be updating throughout the event if you prefer to get your news in 280 characters or less.

Plus: pssssstt! We’ll be at the convention, too, updating you on EVERYTHING you need to know about the D23 Expo! Yeah, you heard us! Merch, panels, the atmosphere — all of it. Stay tuned to AllEars for the exclusive deets straight from the convention floor!
