EPCOT Will Open LATE These Two Days in October

When you’re planning your next Disney World vacation, you’re probably figuring out where to stay and which restaurants you want to get reservations for.

However, you might not be thinking about checking the park hours for each day of your trip. Which is why we are here to keep you in the loop on any wonky park hour changes that could affect your trip. And if you’re planning a visit in October, you’ll want to hear this.

Typically, EPCOT opens every day at 9 AM, but for two days in late October, this is not the case. On both October 23rd and 25th, the park will be opening one hour later at 10 AM.

These delayed openings are due to the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. EPCOT is the starting and finish line for runDisney races, which means that at times park hours can be slightly affected by the races.

While opening one hour later would not ruin your EPCOT day, it’s important to note so that if you want to have a full day in EPCOT, you know to visit a different park on the 23rd and 25th.

The booths are coming together!

EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival begins August 27th and runs through November 21st. Which means that EPCOT is about to be full of amazing food, performances, and larger crowds. So if you are planning to visit EPCOT in the next few months, be prepared that it will be busy, especially walking around World Showcase.
