When people start talking about the best restaurants in Disney World, the conversation usually focuses on places inside the parks or in Disney Springs. However, a couple of hotels near the parks might have one of the best collections in all of Disney World.

For many guests, dining choices can be limited to the parks, Disney Springs, or the hotel they’re staying at. That’s certainly an acceptable way to plan, but it’s also an easy way to miss out on several incredible dining spots hiding at a hotel complex that many Disney World visitors completely overlook. We’re — of course — talking about the renowned Swan and Dolphin hotels!
Technically, these hotels are operated by Marriott rather than Disney itself, but they sit right in the middle of the Disney bubble between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can literally walk or take a boat to both parks — yet a surprising number of Disney visitors never stop to check out the dining here. I’m here to tell you that’s a BIG mistake.

Home to several incredible and underrated restaurants, the Swan and Dolphin have an incredible collection. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite spots!
Bourbon Steak
One of the newest and most upscale restaurants at the resort is Bourbon Steak, located at the Dolphin.

This steakhouse comes from celebrity chef Michael Mina and focuses on premium cuts of beef, elevated sides, and a high-end dining experience.

It’s the kind of signature dining experience ideal for celebrations, date nights, or when you want something that feels a little more luxurious than typical theme park dining.

If you’re looking for one of the most refined meals near the parks, this one absolutely delivers.
Todd English’s bluezoo
Speaking of refined, seafood lovers should definitely check out Todd English’s bluezoo, also at the Dolphin!

Created by celebrity chef Todd English, this restaurant focuses on coastal-inspired cuisine with bold flavors and creative presentations. Fresh seafood is the star of the menu, and the dishes here are yet another example of the Dolphin stepping up to provide Disney World guests with elevated fare in an exquisite atmosphere.

It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a sophisticated dinner after a long park day. We also recommend checking out the bluezoo Lounge if you’re more intent on getting drinks and lighter eats.

Amare
Over at Swan Reserve, you’ll find one of the most underrated restaurants in the entire EPCOT resort area: Amare.

Amare specializes in Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and lighter dishes that keep us coming back for more.

The restaurant’s sleek and modern atmosphere creates an unforgettable signature dining experience. Additionally, it’s also home to an “extensive Mediterranean-based wine list featuring several specialized wine flights with selections from across the region”, giving you unique opportunities to try unique drinks and flavors that you’ll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere at Disney World.

Il Mulino New York Trattoria
Over at the Swan, Il Mulino New York Trattoria certainly delivers the goods when it comes to tasty Italian food.

This restaurant brings the feel of a classic New York Italian restaurant to Disney World, with house-made pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and hearty dishes that satisfy the Italian craving.

This signature dining experience offers a relaxed, yet vibrant, casual-chic setting. We appreciate that this is an upscale restaurant that is more relaxed than intimidating.

Kimonos
Staying at the Swan, Kimonos is another excellent choice.

Yes, it’s a signature sushi restaurant — but it’s also a karaoke lounge. As the evening goes on, this spot can transform into a lively karaoke experience, which makes it a fun stop for adults looking to unwind after a day at the parks.

Even if you’re not planning on singing, the sushi here is widely considered some of the best you’ll find anywhere at Disney World.
Rosa Mexicano
Another lively dining spot at the Dolphin is Rosa Mexicano. Yet ANOTHER signature dining experience, this Mexican restaurant offers a fresh take on authentic Mexican cuisine.

This restaurant serves up both tried-and-true classics as well as sophisticated dishes in a stylish and festive atmosphere. We’re also big fans of the margaritas here, including the signature frozen pomegranate.

Vibrant and bold, Rosa Mexicano is a great spot if you’re craving some tasty Mexican cuisine — even if it’s just that famous tableside guacamole.

Garden Grove
The Swan’s Garden Grove is great if you’re looking for something more casual and family-friendly.

The restaurant is famous for its massive oak tree centerpiece and tall windows — providing a relaxing and bright setting. It serves comfort-food favorites for breakfast and brunch that are sure to satisfy most palates.

Keep in mind that Garden Grove is only open Thursday through Monday from 7 AM to 11:30 AM.

The Fountain
Finally, The Fountain at the Dolphin is ideal for folks looking for something quick, classic, and satisfying.

This casual spot serves burgers, sandwiches, and classic diner-style dishes, but the real highlight is the dessert menu. The ice cream sundaes here have become a fan favorite, making it a perfect stop if you’re craving something sweet.

If you have picky eaters in your party, The Fountain is more than a safe spot to sit down and enjoy a meal!

And these are just some of the restaurants, if you can believe it! The Swan and Dolphin are PACKED with additional lounges, restaurants, and poolside bars that are excellent. We also can’t forget the incredible annual Food & Wine Classic that brings in foodies from far and wide!

One of the best parts about dining at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is how easy it is to reach. You can walk here from EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or hop on a boat from either park. That makes it incredibly convenient if you want to escape the crowds for a bit without leaving the Disney bubble.
And because these restaurants aren’t located inside the parks, reservations can sometimes be easier to find than some of Disney World’s most popular dining spots.

So if you’re planning your next Disney World trip and want to try something a little different, it might be time to take a closer look at the Swan and Dolphin.
