This is NOT a drill, people! While we love many snacks in EPCOT, we’re thrilled to share with you that one of our all-time favorite snacks is finally back for the upcoming spring season!
Over at Karamell-Küche in the Germany Pavilion, you’ll find a delicious selection of snacks that very rarely lets us down, no matter what time of year it is. However, around springtime, we often see one of our all-time favorite snacks return, and that day has FINALLY come!
Just a few days ago, the Werther’s Original Caramel Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie returned to this mouthwatering spot. It’ll cost you $7.99 and is two Carrot Cake Whoopies with Salted Caramel Buttercream Frosting and Werther’s Original Caramel.
You’ll find a similar version of this snack, the Carrot Cake Cookie, at Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios year round. That version has two pieces of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting in the middle.
In this Karamell-Küche version, this is NOT cream cheese frosting in the middle, but the caramel mixed with the buttercream somehow makes our taste buds think it is! The carrot cake itself has a slight savory aspect that cuts through the sweetness of the caramel, and it all combines beautifully together. You’ll have to be careful with it, because it’s so soft that it falls apart easily. We also suggest sharing it if you’re looking for a lighter snack, but be careful — it’s so delicious that it’s hard to share!
This is only around for a limited time, so if you know you want to give it a try, we suggest heading over to snag it sooner rather than later.
