REVIEW: We Wanted This Hollywood Studios Snack to Be Better Than it Was

We were going to say we’re in the mood for a sweet treat, but is there seriously ever a time when we’re not in the mood for a sweet treat?!

There are so many tasty eats and treats across the Disney World property. We recently went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we had to share what we got with you. If you like raspberries, pistachios, and cheesecake, this might be for you.

There are tons of dining spots at Hollywood Studios, but one that we always find ourselves at is ABC Commissary.

ABC Commissary is a quick-service spot that offers some of the park’s most popular dishes. We normally go there for the meals, but this time we went for a dessert.

When we were there, we grabbed the Raspberry Pistachio Cheesecake for $5.79.

The cheesecake layer is very creamy and has plenty of raspberry flavor. We were missing more real raspberry, as there was very little raspberry jam, which was just a dollop in the middle.

The pistachio layer was not appetizing to us. It has a very artificial flavor that just wasn’t the most pleasant of tastes. It honestly got to the point where we found ourselves scraping it off the cheesecake so we could enjoy the cheesecake layer on its own. (We’re sorry to the pistachio)!

The crust does not have a lot of flavor and does not add any real difference to the texture. Overall, this was a fine cheesecake without the top layer. However, with the top layer, this one might be a pass for us.

Sure, there are some who might love this one, especially if you’re a huge fan of pistachio flavors, but for us? We’re gonna pass. If you love Disney food reviews, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars, because we love trying everything the parks have to offer.
