REVIEW: Dear Disney, All Shakes Should Come With Cake

A huge celebration is happening right now in Disneyland. The resort is celebrating its 70th Anniversary, and has gone all out with its party. That includes special 70th Anniversary food and drinks.

Well, we recently learned NEW 70th Anniversary snacks were coming to the parks, but Disney has also added some new seasonal snacks. So when a new shake landed at Schmoozies! in Disney California Adventure, we had to run over there to try it.

Meet the Cake Shake, made with Confetti Shake with Strawberry Icing and Sprinkles, topped with Whipped Topping and a Slice of Cake for $13.79. Yes, it’s a shake with a massive slice of cake in it, and that alone makes it worthy of celebration. But, we also have to admit that this could be our favorite shake from Schmoozies yet.

It’s a basic vanilla shake, but the cake slice and sprinkles make it a lot of fun, although don’t let its appearance fool you…it’s really tasty, too. It’s not TOO sweet, and because you also get cake, it’s enough to even make it shareable.

We will give you a tip, though, if you order this shake. Make sure to eat the cake fast because it eventually gets soggy and drops down into the shake, although that’s still not a bad problem to have. You can always just give it a good stir and have little cake bites INSIDE the shake. It’s a win-win either way.
