If there’s one constant when it comes to the parks, it’s change. From rides and shows to full lands and parks, everything in Disney parks — for better or worse — is prone to evolve over the years. That even trickles down to the essentials we use at the parks every day.

In recent years, many essential items that we used to pick up at Disney World have been replaced by items that are currently available on Amazon.
Disney’s classic spray bottle fans are out, and this 3-in-1 USB Fan is IN!

This USB-powered fan is actually 3-products-in-one, as it also functions as a flashlight and an emergency power bank. It’s also foldable, making it easily portable to carry everywhere, including theme parks.
These Mini-Umbrellas have become an essential piece of Disney gear.

This mini umbrella features a 40-inch arc and a 35.4-inch diameter, making it “perfect for concealing in your purse or bag when you’re on the go! Folds to an ultra-compact 7.9 inches, makes the umbrella great for travel, as this super lightweight umbrella collapses about the size of your palm.”
These Cooling Towels are key to staving off the heat at Disney World.

Staying cool is a big part of staying at Disney World, and as we’ve talked about before, these cooling towels are a fantastic way to stay cool. These towels are made of “high-density cooling mesh microfiber, soft and skin-friendly, which is super absorbent, breathable, and hyper-evaporative. This ice towel adopts physical cooling by the evaporation of water molecules. The unique cooling system uses moisture in the towel to draw the sweat away from your skin, keep you cool and dry quickly, economical and environmentally friendly.”
And what we love is that these are way cheaper to buy online than in the parks!
Disney’s ponchos can’t hold a candle to these Frogg Toggs.

We have tried A LOT of ponchos at Walt Disney World over the years, and this is BY FAR our favorite. This poncho – – available on Amazon in multiple colors, including this striking hot pink – – had several features that we simply adored. The material allowed the rain to slip right off, and between that and the lack of sleeves, we didn’t feel steamed or hot underneath. On top of that, the poncho was large enough that our backpack was able to fit underneath it comfortably, while still keeping the bag and our backs completely covered from the rain.
You can even find a Bubble Wand!

This Moana light-up wand plays whimsical music all while blowing tons of bubbles for less than the cost of one at the Disney parks. We like buying these before our trip because they come with extra bubbles and are way cheaper than buying them in the parks.
We started with one type of fan, only fair to end with another: The AMKEN Waist Fan

This waist fan combines six functions in a small package. This is great if your torso tends to get hot or if you are carrying the backpack the whole trip, and just need to air to help combat the sweat!
