This new Disney Cruise Line rule is kind of a shocker — because we’re surprised it wasn’t a thing until now!

How many of you have taken a Disney cruise, get totally lost in the magical experience, and realize once you get home that you forgot to buy that one photo? If you can relate to that experience, you’re going to love this brand-new change!
The Disney Cruise Line has officially updated its photo policy to allow U.S. residents to purchase cruise photos after debarkation. In the past, photos had to be bought before leaving the ship on the last day. They could be bought digitally or physically, but they had to be bought before the last day of the trip.

With this brand-new change, U.S. residents now have extra time to check out, choose, and purchase their favorite vacation photos once their trip is over. It just makes it so much easier to sit down and go through photos without being on the ship, juggling multiple things in your mind, trying to make the most of your getaway.

Everyone loves pictures, especially those special ones from vacation. So, this is seriously a big game changer. The Disney Cruise Line onboard photographers capture so many special moments from character experiences to Castaway Cay. It’s nice to have extra time to pick the perfect shot.

Just so you’re aware, there is still a limited window, but it’s SO much longer. You’ll now have 45 days from the day the photo was taken to purchase it. You’ll be able to view and purchase individual photos or packages on the Disney Cruise Line Photos website. Just so you’re aware, photo packages are cheaper to purchase before you set sail rather than waiting until you’re onboard or after your cruise.

Remember, this option only applies to U.S. residents. There hasn’t been any word on international travelers as of right now. If you’re looking for Disney news and updates to help make your travel easier and smoother, make sure to stay tuned to AllEars!
