2 Popular Disney World Restaurants Set to Close THIS Year

Two popular Disney World restaurants just announced temporary closures! You still have a bit over a month before the first closure begins, but we want to make sure you aren’t caught by surprise.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is currently undergoing exterior maintenance through late 2026, and it also seems that Disney is hard at work on various areas of the hotel. The Admiral leisure pool is undergoing routine maintenance through early May 2026, and the popular Stormalong Bay finished a lengthy refurbishment back in June 2025. Now, two popular restaurants at Disney’s Yacht Club have announced upcoming refurbishments!

Crew’s Cup Lounge will close on February 23rd, 2026, with a reopening currently expected in May 2026. Yachtsman Steakhouse will then close in May 2026 for a refresh. It is currently expected to reopen by August 2026. We are already planning a trip over to Crew’s Cup Lounge to grab those delicious Prime Rib Sliders before it closes temporarily!

Currently, it seems that Crew’s Cup Lounge and Yachtsman Steakhouse will be closed at different times, though there may be a slight overlap in May. However, we expect Yachtsman Steakhouse to close after they finish work at Crew’s Cup Lounge. If you are looking for somewhere else to dine at Disney’s Yacht Club, you can also head over to Ale & Compass Restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also the Ale & Compass Lounge or The Market at Ale & Compass.

Or you can also take a quick stroll over to Disney’s Beach Club for even more dining options like Cape May Cafe, Martha’s Vineyard, or Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.
