When it comes to eating at Walt Disney World, there is no shortage of restaurant options. From quick-service eateries providing theme park essentials to upscale establishments complete with dress codes and age minimums, the resort offers an option for every taste.

These 200+ options extend from the parks to Disney Springs and the property’s 25+ resort hotels. Speaking of the resorts, let’s narrow the focus for you and talk about the one hotel restaurant that’s better than all the others, and there’s no convincing me otherwise!
Let me just dive right in and say that Boma — Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is hands down the BEST Disney World hotel restaurant. I’m not budging on that, and here’s why.
It’s A Feast for the Senses (and Stomach)
Boma isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. It’s an all-you-care-to-enjoy-style buffet, and the quality of the food is phenomenal.

We’re talking melt-in-your-mouth meats, vibrant and flavorful African-inspired dishes, and classic favorites done to perfection.

Quantity? Let’s just say you won’t leave hungry. The sheer variety is staggering, with options to please every palate.

From adventurous foodies to picky eaters (we’re looking at those 2-year-olds who only want Mickey waffles), Boma has something for everyone.

Escape the Hustle and Bustle of the Parks
Now, let’s talk about the atmosphere. Boma is nestled within the Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is a tranquil escape from the usual Disney hubbub — making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of park adventures.

Plus, it is close to Animal Kingdom Lodge’s savanna, which means you can head outside before or after your meal to try to sneak a peek at some of the animals that live in the area.

We’ve seen zebras, giraffes, okapis, and more! Going to see the animals could be a great way to keep the hungry kiddos entertained while you’re waiting for dinner.

Overall, since it’s so tucked away, you can avoid the crowds and commotion of some other resort hotels.

So, if you’re on the hunt for the ultimate dining experience at Disney World, look no further than Boma. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
Craving More?
Boma may have stolen my heart, but Animal Kingdom Lodge boasts a collection of incredible restaurants.

If you’re looking for a more intimate, fine-dining experience, Jiko – The Cooking Place is a must-try. Here, you’ll embark on a culinary journey through the flavors of South Africa.

And for a more casual, yet unforgettable experience, head over to Sanaa.

It has breathtaking views of the savanna and a menu featuring delicious Indian-inspired dishes. You absolutely have to try the bread service.

Sanaa and Jiko are true Disney gems.

Well, folks, there you have it. As we said, Boma is the best, but you might as well do yourself a favor and eat at any of the Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurants on your next trip to Disney World.
Until then, keep it right her,e and we’ll keep giving you the whole Disney scoop!

100% agree! No matter where we stay, a meal at Boma is always a must-do for us when at WDW.
I went to the breakfast buffet at Boma a little over a month ago and it was AMAZING!!! Everything I tried was delicious. I’m looking forward to trying the dinner buffet on a future trip.
