The Secret to Eating at the BEST Disney World Restaurants without Reservations!

You’ve heard tales of the best restaurants in Disney World. You’ve tried to snag that coveted Advance Dining Reservation but haven’t had any luck! What’s a Disney fan to do?

Wine Bar George at Disney Springs

Have no fear, because we’re sharing our number one secret for dining at the most popular Disney World restaurants without a reservation! Let’s check out everything you need to know to dine on the down-low.

Some Disney Springs restaurants seem like they are just impossible to actually eat at, but we’ve learned a thing or two in our years of Disney dining. Our best-kept secret?

BARS

Homecomin’

Did you know that most Disney World Table Service restaurants have first-come, first-served bars?! YEP, meaning you can waltz right in and have a seat (assuming there’s room for your party at the bar, of course).

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs

This is a great way to experience a restaurant that often lacks available reservations, and you can order from the regular restaurant menu! We love eating the incredible offerings from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’!

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is an upscale waterfront dining experience that boasts incredible views and has not one, not two, but three different bars to choose from!

The BOATHOUSE

The Captain’s Raw Bar and Admiral’s Club Bar are located indoors, while the Dockside Bar is located — you guessed it — dockside! Enjoy waterfront views and fresh seafood — this menu changes daily to ensure the freshest ingredients are used.

These certainly aren’t the only restaurants in Disney Springs that have first-come, first-served bars, but they can be hard-to-get when it comes to reservations. Still, there is another way you can dine at popular Disney Springs spots without a reservation!

Counter Service Locations

Several different restaurants around Disney Springs also offer walk-up windows where you can order food and beverages without a reservation. The menus are typically different from the full Table Service menus, and you may have to wait in a line — but it’s a great way to experience a popular restaurant like…

Morimoto Asia Street Food

While you can’t order the whole Peking duck at Morimoto Asia Street Food, you can order mouth-watering foods like barbecue pork buns, tonkatsu ramen, and the Morimoto Baby Ribs which we dream about on the daily.

Spicy Pork Ramen at Morimoto Street Food

You can expect the same level of attention and culinary care in the food at Morimoto Street Food as you would with its Table Service big brother!

Cookes of Dublin

If you’ve ever eaten at Raglan Road in Disney Springs, you know how busy it can get! Serving up traditional Irish foods and regular entertainment like live music, it’s a lively spot for a bite to eat. Cookes of Dublin is the Quick Service counterpart to Raglan Road that is just as delicious!

The highlight on this menu is of course fish and chips, but if that’s not your thing you can also order burgers and chicken sandwiches — and did we mention the cheese and bacon dip?!

The Basket at Wine Bar George

If you’ve been reading AllEars for a while, you know we love Wine Bar George! Spearheaded by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, this spot is great for shareable appetizers and over 100 different selections of wine — yes, please. Unfortunately, reservations at WBG can be hard to come by. Luckily, the Basket is a Quick Service restaurant that offers a not-as-large-but-still-expansive selection of wines, beers, and cocktails, along with snacks like charcuterie and cheese plates!

You might want to skip this location if you’re looking for a full meal, but if you’ve been wanting to try the selection of beverages at Wine Bar George, this is a great spot to do so!
