BREAKING: Dates Revealed for Frozen Ever After Changes at EPCOT

Frozen Ever After is getting some exciting changes at EPCOT!

Frozen Ever After

Disney previously shared that the Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff Audio-Animatronics would be getting new updates in this popular ride — and now we finally know when that will be!

Heads up! Frozen Ever After will temporarily close for refurbishment on January 26th, 2026, and reopen in February 2026 with updates to the Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff Audio-Animatronics figures!

Frozen Ever After

For their time, these figures were groundbreaking in the world of audio-animatronics as Frozen Ever After was the first ever ride to include all-electric audio-animatronic figures, as well as the first to combine electric motors and 3D printing.

These new updates will take inspiration from the advancements seen in figures at World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland. They will help usher in the future of audio-animatronic technology, as we’ve yet to see it used in Disney World. These new updates are aimed to bring a more true-to-film look for these characters and are expected to be completed in February 2026.
