REVIEW: 6 Disney Springs Snacks We Avoid at ALL COSTS

Disney Springs isn’t just a shopping destination — it’s a food lover’s paradise. But not all snacks are worth your time or money here.

With more than 60 dining locations ranging from quick bites to celebrity-chef restaurants, you can snack your way through everything from gourmet treats to Disney-themed indulgences. But with so many options, not every snack lives up to the hype. And while we love most of what Disney Springs has to offer, there are a few snacks we’ve learned to steer clear of, and today, we’re spilling which ones to avoid at all costs.

You need patience to snag this iconic snack!

Don’t get us wrong, we love the treats at Gideon’s Bakehouse, but we do not love the long line or the virtual queue. During busy times, we have had to wait hours for our virtual queue to be called.

If you’re like me, and a cookie is calling your name, you don’t wait hours for it. If you can’t wait, head over to Summer House on the Lake for their cookie bar. Both offer delicious cookies that differ in style, but there is one that allows you to walk up and grab a cookie.

Gorgeous treats…that cost an arm and a leg.

Speaking of sweet treats, Amorette’s Patisserie serves up some beautifully crafted desserts.

Timeless classic and contemporary pastries are the stars in this unique high-end pastry shop owned and operated by Disney. However, these items come at a high price, and I simply cannot choose just one dessert, so I will spend way too much of my Disney snack money here.

Chocolate piñatas are fun, but are they worth it?!

The Ganachery is known for its chocolates, and one of the more iconic pieces is the chocolate piñatas that they do. The piñatas change seasonally and typically cost around $28.

These are really fun, but we like to save them for a special occasion. While they are adorable and unique, the practicality of them isn’t full there.

Skip the classics and try something new

The Candy Cauldron is your usual bakery shop that you can find at the Disney parks with caramel apples, cupcakes, and more. Because there are so many more unique snack options at Disney Springs, we suggest skipping this entirely.

If you don’t branch out, you miss out!

At Disney Springs, you might be tempted to go to Häagen-Dazs for ice cream.

However, if you want something more than what you can find at the grocery store, we suggest heading to Vivoli Gelateria, which serves gelato. Not only is it tasty, but you can typically find seasonal offerings here, too.

Leave the popcorn for the parks

Finally, Disney popcorn is always delicious. It’s a filling, cheaper snack option that you can share. However, when you’re at Disney Springs with SO many food offerings, we will skip the popcorn carts here.

In short, there are so many snack options at Disney Springs, so don’t settle! We suggest taking a look at a few menus, watching some AllEars YouTube videos, and finding something that sounds delicious to you!
