REVIEW: We Tried the NEWEST DOLE Whip Treat in Disney World, and It Was the Best $8 We’ve Spent This Month

Spooky season is here at Disney World — that means parties, costumes, and hopefully cooler weather. It also means exclusive TREATS!

DOLE Whip Halloween Sampler

Our favorite part of the Halloween season at Disney World has to be the limited-time snacks and treats! We fill our bellies every year with all the spooky eats that Disney debuts, and we’ve been doing the same this year. This time, we made our way over to Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs, which had not one, not two, but THREE treats in this DOLE Whip Sampler.

The DOLE Whip Halloween Sampler at Swirls on the Water is a great way to try several of the exclusive Halloween treats available here.

Swirls on the Water

So, that’s exactly what we did. We grabbed the Halloween Sampler for $7.99, which came with three Halloween DOLE Whip treats. Something we noticed when we got it was that the sampler now comes in a new container, so you won’t be able to take each cup out individually.

The menu!

Alright, let’s talk about these treats. First, we tried the DOLE Whip Pineapple swirled with Vanilla Soft-serve and a Fresh Pineapple Wedge. Might as well start with the classic, since we already know and love this one.

Pineapple Swirl

Of course, you get that delicious, tangy pineapple with a creamy vanilla soft-serve. We’ve enjoyed this many times all over Disney World, and we’re sure you have, too! We will say we liked the pineapple chunk that was added to this mini sample size version of the treat.

Tasty as always

Now on to the interesting Halloween flavors! The next DOLE Whip we tried was the Green Apple Soft-serve with Salted Caramel Soft-serve, Apple Pie Filling, and Halloween sprinkles. This thing really reminded us of The Sanderson Sisters Caramel-Apple Pie Sundae.

Green Apple Soft-serve

The green apple was distinctly green apple to the point that it literally tastes exactly like what it’s meant to be. However, we were surprised that it was sweeter rather than tart or sour. We think it was the salted caramel that helped, adding a nice sweetness with the salt. We will say we found the salted caramel flavor to be pretty strong, so if that’s not a flavor you like, we wouldn’t recommend this.

This was surprisingly sweet

Last, but not least, we had the Marshmallow Soft-serve with Chocolate Soft-serve, Chocolate Sauce, and Graham Cracker Topping. Picture a candy bar, like a Twix bar, but in ice cream form — that’s what this was giving us. That said, there are no peanuts or caramel in it, so it wasn’t fully that flavor.

Marshmallow Soft-serve

We really like the chocolate mixed with marshmallow flavor. Overall, it was nice and creamy, but the warm chocolate sauce drizzled on top did make the treat a little runny.

This was like a candy bar in ice cream form

We’ve been having lots of treats lately, and there are still a lot more treats to be had this Halloween season. Now that we can check this one off our list, we are happy to report it was a SUCCESSFUL visit to Swirls on the Water.

Here it is!
