It’s finally happening! Halloween has arrived with the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom.

We’re LIVE at the party and we’re checking out everything there is to see, do, and eat. Speaking of eating, we’re making our way around the party to try out its snacks, and we’re bringing you this massive review of everything we try. So let’s get started.
Casey’s Corner
We’re starting our Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween eating adventure at Casey’s Corner with the new Candy Corn Verrine for $5.99. It’s made with layers of salted caramel ganache, marshmallow panna cotta, and whipped cream, topped with caramel corn and candy corn.

Our reporter shared that even as someone who doesn’t usually reach for candy corn, she found herself pleasantly surprised. The base layer is a silky salted caramel that delivers a satisfying mix of sweet and salty, easily stealing the show. On top are two layers of panna cotta with a subtle marshmallow-vanilla flavor and a thicker, jelly-like texture, creating a smooth contrast to the caramel’s richness.

The dessert is topped with a swirl of whipped cream, bits of candy corn, and crunchy caramel corn, making it just as fun to look at as it is to eat. It’s not overpoweringly sweet, which makes it a nice choice if you’re looking for something indulgent but not heavy. Fans of panna cotta, or anyone wanting a festive, photogenic party snack, will likely enjoy this seasonal offering.

Golden Oak Outpost
Golden Oak Outpost is bringing three new treats to the party, starting with the Cajun Crawfish and Sausage BOOtine. This is a plate of waffle fries topped with Cajun-inspired crawfish, andouille sausage gravy, and cheese curds for $13.49. This was a surprisingly fun and hearty specialty snack.

While it doesn’t scream Halloween visually, it more than makes up for it with flavor and portion size. The loaded waffle fries are perfectly seasoned and provide plenty of surface area to hold the generous topping of crawfish, andouille gravy, and large cheese curds. The crawfish texture might be a little intense for some at first, but the rich, spicy andouille flavor and creamy cheese curds quickly win you over. This dish is definitely shareable, and the portion is large enough to split between two or more people.

Beignets from Beyond are light, sweet, and fluffy beignets with powdered sugar and chocolate cookie crumbs served with cookies and cream cheese dipping sauce for $8.79.

On the sweet side, the beignets at Beyond were a disappointment. The texture is more shell than fluffy dough, and while the purple powdered sugar, cookie crumbs, and sprinkles are visually fun, they don’t add much beyond sugary sweetness. The accompanying dip tastes like cheap store-bought icing, making this a pass-worthy option

For $6.29, you can order the Hot Honey Lemonade made with Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with hot honey and a chili-lime rim. Surprisingly, this was the star of the menu. The combination of tahini on the rim and hot honey in the drink is unexpectedly delicious, offering a unique, lightly spicy twist on a classic lemonade. Refreshing and flavorful, this drink is worth a try and is sure to leave a memorable impression.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
We’ve got two new treats to try at Pecos Bill, including the Buzzard Wings for $11.99. They’re whole chicken wings tossed with grilled onions, jalapeños, and lime. The Buzzard Wings were a pleasant surprise after our initial hesitation. Whole chicken wings can sometimes make people squeamish, but these turned out to be tender, meaty, and cooked beautifully, with the meat falling right off the bone.

While the skin could have been a bit crispier, the savory, slightly glazed sauce was spot on. The toppings were a mixed bag, with fresh jalapeños (with seeds) to bring a welcome heat, and the lime added a bright note. However, the grilled onions and cilantro leaned too “fresh” and even gave off a soapy taste.

At $12 for two whole wings (about the equivalent of five standard wings), they’re a bit pricey, but still tasty enough that we’d consider sharing them again.

The Pumpkin Pie Mini Churros are rolled in orange sugar and served with pumpkin pie dipping sauce. They’re $6.49. These were a fun, seasonal snack that’s easy to love. They have the same soft-inside, crunchy-outside texture as the standard mini churros, which are already miles better than Disney World’s full-sized versions.

The pumpkin pie sauce tastes more like a classic pumpkin spice icing. It’s sweet, lightly spiced, and familiar, and topped with festive sprinkles for a Halloween-ready look. While the flavor isn’t groundbreaking, they’re snackable, shareable, and fairly priced, making them a solid pick if you’re craving something sweet during the party.

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
You can pick up a Creepy Kimchi Corn Dog at Sleepy Hollow for $10.29. It’s a hand-dipped corn dog rolled in malt vinegar and scallion with Hades relish and kimchi-mayonnaise dipping sauce. This was a pleasant surprise for us. It delivers just the right amount of heat, which was enough to notice, but not overpowering or lingering. It also had balanced sweet and savory flavors. It elevates the classic corn dog without being something you’d plan your visit around, making it a fun, happenstance snack.

The Pumpkin-spiced Funnel Cake Sundae is a pumpkin funnel cake topped with pumpkin gelato, whipped cream, pumpkin-spiced caramel, marshmallow pumpkins, and sprinkles for $8.99. For pumpkin spice fans, this funnel cake is an absolute must-try.

This indulgent treat combines pumpkin gelato atop a pumpkin spice funnel cake, drizzled with caramel and topped with whipped cream. The flavors meld beautifully, evoking notes of autumn desserts like apple pie with a rich, caramel twist. If you love funnel cakes or just enjoy a seasonal pumpkin spice explosion, this treat is fun, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

Spring Roll Cart
Stop by the Spring Roll Cart for the Spicy Pork Spring Roll, which is served with pineapple mustard for $9.50.

This snack is quickly winning over fans of bold, inventive snacks. The spicy pork filling packs just the right punch. It’s just enough heat to notice without overpowering the palate, and the spices give it a chorizo-like flavor that’s enhanced by chunks of sweet pineapple and a tangy pineapple mustard. Each bite offers a perfectly cooked, chewy texture that’s satisfying without being heavy, making it a standout snack for anyone looking for something a little different.

The spring roll also delivers a delightful crunch that adds an extra layer of enjoyment. While it can leave your fingers a bit greasy, the flavor more than makes up for it. We think if you like sweet and spicy flavors, this is a hit!

Pinocchio Village Haus
You’ll have three spooky snacks to choose from at Pinocchio Village Haus. For something savory, try the Phantasmal Fried Pumpkin Ravioli served with black garlic aïoli for $9.49. This is a flavorful treat, though slightly over-crisped.

While the exterior was harder to cut through than expected, likely from sitting for a bit, the filling was rich with pumpkin flavor, and the black garlic aioli added a decadent, truffle-like note that complemented the dish beautifully.
You can also order the Undead Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips for $10.99. You’ll get fried chicken strips tossed in garlic-parmesan sauce, parmesan, and parsley. The chicken tenders are classic Disney fare, featuring thick, crunchy breading and juicy chicken inside. They’re topped with a garlicky, cheesy sauce and herbs, so garlic lovers will especially enjoy this snack. For those who love bold flavors, these tenders are a hit.

Add something sweet, while you’re at it. There’s the Captain Hook Treasure Whoopie Pie, a chocolate whoopie pie with caramel filling and fruit-flavored cereal treasure, for $5.49.

This is a sweet indulgence, filled with buttercream frosting and a silky caramel center. While the flavors aren’t particularly complex, the moist cake, creamy frosting, and smooth caramel make it enjoyable. A few pieces of fruit cereal on top add a playful touch, and the milk chocolate skull gives it a fun Halloween vibe.
The Friar’s Nook
The Haunting Jalapeño Ranch Tots are tots topped with black bean chili, cheddar cheese sauce, and jalapeño ranch for $10.49. They’re definitely a cozy, fall-inspired snack and would be perfect for a crisp, cool day. However, these may be less ideal for a hot and humid Florida “fall”.

The black bean chili is classic and comforting, with a mix of beans and a bit of meat, but don’t expect much heat as it’s mild. The jalapeño ranch adds a subtle kick with creamy, herby notes, and the cheddar cheese sauce is rich and indulgent, pairing perfectly with the tots. Speaking of which, the tots themselves are nicely crispy and hold up well under all the toppings.

Overall, it’s a hearty, flavorful snack with generous portions, just maybe not the best pick when the weather is still scorching.
You can also grab the Not-So-Poison Apple Doughnuts for $6.49. These are Apple Cider Doughnuts rolled in Apple Cider Sugar and drizzled with Caramel Sauce.

These were wonderful! They had a great crust on the outside but were nice and soft inside. The apple flavor was there, but the apple cider vinegar also gave it that spice, and while they looked dense, we loved how light they were.

We absolutely recommend these if you’re looking for a sweet treat that’s a little easier to walk around with. Plus, the Friar’s Nook is open all the way until party close at midnight, so it can be your super late nights snack!
Storybook Treats
Every poor, unfortunate soul needs to try the Ursula Cone for $8.29. You get wild berry soft-serve with candy coral and citrus cotton candy in a black vanilla cone.

This sweet treat is a fun, spooky treat with a surprisingly balanced flavor profile. The wild berry soft serve leans toward a mild blueberry taste, with creamy vanilla undertones that keep it from being too tart. The real standout, though, was the crunchy candy coral. It is sweet with a caramel-like flavor that pairs perfectly when dipped into the ice cream. It added a satisfying texture contrast to the smooth soft serve.

The citrus cotton candy was a bright, lemony surprise, but it melted almost instantly into the ice cream. The jet-black cone itself is your classic ice cream cone in flavor, but beware, it can leave little black specks on your teeth, so a quick mirror check might be necessary before snapping pictures. Overall, it’s a tasty and photogenic seasonal snack that can melt fast in the Florida heat!

The Lunching Pad
The Skull Cake is a banana cake filled with dulce de leche for $5.49. At first bite, it almost gives oatmeal cream pie vibes, but once you dig in, the banana flavor shines through and pairs perfectly with the smooth caramel-like filling.

The light icing coating holds up surprisingly well in the heat, and the cakes themselves are soft, moist, and indulgent. Each bite blends banana, vanilla, and dulce de leche into a creamy, sweet treat that feels like the perfect mix of comforting and special.

Wash that down with the Ghoulish Blue Raspberry Slushy for $6.69. It’s a Fanta blue raspberry slushy with black vanilla drizzle. The addition of the black vanilla drizzle gives it a creamy, frothy note reminiscent of a soda float or root beer float, while still keeping that tangy blue raspberry taste front and center. It’s refreshing, visually striking, and a great option for kids looking for something special at the party.

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies
There’s one treat available at Auntie Gravity’s and it’s the Candy Bowl Sundae for $7.79. This is Salted Caramel Soft-serve topped with Chocolate Cone Dip, SNICKERS® bar pieces, TWIX® cookie bar pieces, M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies.

This was simple, but fantastic! The salted caramel flavor was certainly strong in the soft serve, so much so that it almost had a coffee/mocha adjacent flavor, but not enough of one that will throw you off if you don’t like coffee. Our favorite part was the chocolate dip that hardens around the ice cream and the sides of the bowl, so you can have some of it with every bite. Honestly, we’d love this so much that we want to see it on the menu all the time!

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Over at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, we grabbed the new Not a Poisoned Apple Slushy for $6.49. This drink is non-alcoholic and only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is frozen apple cider topped with cinnamon whipped cream and sour gummy candy.

This slushy was full of green apple flavor and when you mixed the cinnamon whipped cream in, it really tasted like a frozen apple cider. The gummy worms were a cute addition to go with the theme, but we didn’t really care for the combination of sour gummy worms and cinnamon whipped cream. This treat is refreshing, and we love the apple cider flavor!
We’ll be covering EVERYTHING from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.

I can’t wait to try the candy corn verrine. I’m also curious about the ghoulish blue raspberry slushie or whatever it’s called.
