We’ve Got OPINIONS About These 3 Disney World Snacks

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, there are a few spots in Disney World you do NOT want to miss!

Zuri’s Sweets Shoppe

One of those spots is Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which serves up some lovely sweet treats like caramel apples, cookies, marshmallow wands, and more. Well, we just recently stopped into Zuri’s and tried some of their classic sweet treats, so keep reading to see what we thought of them.

If you’re not familiar with Zuri’s Sweets Shop, it’s basically Animal Kingdom’s confectionery shop with all kinds of sweet goodies. For this trip, we wanted to try some fun, animal-themed treats, so we started with the Hippo Marshmallow Wand for $6.29. This is made with marshmallows dipped in a gray chocolate coating and decorated with milk chocolate and crushed chocolate cookies. It’s also super cute.

We will warn you, though, that this baby did not stand up to the sun very well, but we still think kids will love it. It’s a different take on the marshmallow wand, especially with the chocolate cookies crumbled on one side. It’s marshmallowy and chocolatey, so the flavors are also nice.

We also tried the Mickey Tiger Mallow Pop for $6.29. This is a marshmallow dipped in orange chocolatey coating and decorated with black chocolatey stripes. It’s another fun dessert, but it also didn’t like the sun too much. But this one is a sugar-coated marshmallow,  so, yes, it’s very sweet.

This is one that was so sweet that we couldn’t even finish it. So be warned that it’s sugar on top of more sugar.

Very sugary

Finally, the Mickey Giraffe Cookie for $5.49 is also available. It’s a sugar cookie with a colored chocolate coating. It’s another cute treat. We found the cookie to be a bit dry, but that’s made up for by the chocolatey coatings (which don’t add a lot of flavor).

It’s basically just a fancy sugar cookie, but again, kids will probably love it, and it’s a solid snack choice — though there are better cookie options available throughout Disney World.

Just a good sugar cookie
