When you’re in Disney World, there are TONS of different snacks and dining options to try around the parks.

However, not all of those are worth your time and money. In fact, a LOT of them aren’t worth your time and money, and we’re doing our best to tell you which those are so you don’t feel disappointed. We asked our team, and these are the four items Disney World experts REFUSE to eat in the parks, and we recommend you do the same.
Mickey Pretzels
We know, we know, we hear your gasps! It’s true that Mickey pretzels are iconic, but the truth is that they’re far from one of the greatest snacks on property.

The cheese that the pretzels come with helps with their overwhelming dryness a little bit, but not enough to really make the cost worth it. There are PLENTY of other better pretzels on property — find them in the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT, Pandora in Animal Kingdom, and honestly, we’ll say that even the pretzels at Wetzel’s Pretzels are often better, which is saying something.
Churros (Unless They’re From Nomad Lounge)
It’s well known that the churros from Disney World are nowhere close to the fantastic churros in Disneyland, and that goes for pretty much every single churro you find in the parks.

In fact, the only exception we’ve found are the churros from Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom, which are exquisite. These have never let us down — they’re crunchy, have the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar, and we think they alone are totally worth the reservation at the restaurant.
Turkey Leg
You probably had a feeling this one was coming — turkey legs are pretty controversial in Disney World, and while some people love them, the majority of the population isn’t a fan of how greasy and heavy they are.

Plus, it’s not super unique to Disney World — you can often find them at most theme parks around the country. Instead, we recommend heading over to the Spring Roll Cart in Adventureland! Those never let us down, and they’re still hearty and savory.
Mickey Premium Bars
We love ice cream as much as the next person, but we’ll also be the first to admit that Mickey Premium Bars are iconic, but they’re often not worth the cost.

This is especially true considering that you can buy Mickey Premium Bars at your local grocery store, so they’re not as unique to Disney parks anymore. Instead, we recommend heading to create your own ice cream creation at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor or grab a Dole Whip from various locations around the parks!

We’re always trying all the latest treats in and around Disney World, so you know what’s worth your money in the parks! Looking for some of our more recent reviews? Check out our posts below!
