It’s sweet, it’s cute, AND it includes a surprise. Say less, we are sold. The best part is that to get to that surprise, you have to play with your food a bit. Let’s just say we walked at a very fast pace to get to this new treat.

We are trying a NEW treat from Dino-Bite Snacks! It is called the Dino Eggs-cavation and costs $5.29. It features a chocolate chunk cookie, cookie crumb-milk mousse, edible sugar bones, and a white chocolate dino egg with a surprise inside! We were so intrigued by this snack, especially the surprise inside.

It is hard to beat being able to play with your food, and this new treat encourages you to do just that! There just so happens to be a white chocolate dino egg on your plate, and there might just be something inside of it. We could hardly contain our excitement, so let’s open up that dino egg!

Inside the egg, you will find an adorable mini dino and some colorful sprinkles. It was such a cute surprise! The little dino is made of white chocolate, but he was almost too cute to eat…almost. Overall, this was a decent snack. It won’t blow your mind culinarily, but getting to crack open the egg already gets it high marks in our book. The chocolate chip cookie was really soft and kind of doughy. It has a good amount of chocolate and there is plenty of sugar in it.

The cookie crumb-milk mousse had tiny chunks of cookie in it. The primary flavor we got was milk, and it was also very sweet. The edible sugar bones were stuck in the mousse and ended up dissolving. When we went to taste them, they pretty much just turned to mush. What we could taste, tasted like straight sugar though. The egg itself is made of a thin layer of white chocolate and the little dino is also made of white chocolate. We thought the white chocolate was tasty and it wasn’t too waxy at all.

While the pieces seem a bit of a mishmash of components, we really think the novelty of cracking the egg open makes this such a unique treat. We think kids will love this treat (and big kids, too!). It is definitely a unique treat, and it is perfect for DinoLand, U.S.A. Stay tuned to AllEars for all your Disney World news and even more food reviews!
