When it comes to Disney World hotels, there are certain resorts that are seemingly always mentioned.
The Grand Floridian is seen as the height of Disney luxury, the Polynesian Village as the apex of theming, Pop Century as the most “valuable” of the Value tier, and etc. However, other great Disney hotels comparatively go under the radar.
One of these underrated hotels is arguably the Disney Vacation Club Beach Club Villas, which opened in the early 2000s and is part of the larger Beach Club complex, which opened in 1990. According to Disney, “Leisure, elegance and romance abound at this charming New England-style beach hotel” which allows guests access to the “pools, spas and lagoons of Stormalong Bay, and the many amenities shared with Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.”
Recently, we received a review of the Beach Club Villas that raved about the resort. In April of 2025, an anonymous reader wrote that the resort was the “the perfect resort” in their family’s opinion. They cited the location being a short walk from EPCOT, and the hotel having multiple different transportation options for other parks. They also cited the Stormalong Bay pool complex.
To put things even more bluntly, they gave the hotel a 10/10 star rating, listed the pros as “Literally everything was great” and the cons as “Nothing.”

No, but, I have stayed in many WDW hotels. I have been at a beautiful dinner in every single hotel. Including the Grand Floridian. I’d much rather spend my money on experiences and food.
That hotel is very nice, but it is also very expensive for the average family. That hotel is part of the deluxe hotels,so it better be nice.
