Former Cast Members Reveal the Magic Kingdom Bathrooms They NEVER Use and Why

We love the Magic Kingdom!

Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom

There are so many great things about the park, like the upcoming expansion, the delicious snacks, and more! There are also some not-so-great things about Disney World’s flagship park, and we’re breaking down one of the most important things on your trip — the bathrooms.

Magic Kingdom is home to the iconic Cinderella Castle, amazing rides, Mickey-shaped snacks, and (no surprise) bathrooms. The last part is kind of a given, sure, but bathrooms are a huge part of your Disney day, whether you want to admit it or not.

Not all bathrooms in Magic Kingdom are created equally, and there are some bathrooms that I, and the rest of the AllEars team, truly avoid at all costs. There are plenty of reasons to avoid them, but we’re going to share the top 4 we avoid and why, starting with the restrooms by the Casey Jr. Splash Pad.

Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station

These restrooms are right next to a splash pad for kiddos (which is super fun), but it means in the summer, a lot of wet, sticky, and hot kids are in those same restrooms. It’s just a bit chaotic and loud, so if you’re needing a quiet place for a break, these bathrooms are not the solution.

Next are the most famous bathrooms in the park, the Tangled Restrooms! We are very sorry to Rapunzel, because these bathrooms are gorgeous, but we avoid them if we can.

The Tangled bathrooms!

If the picture above doesn’t prove our point, nothing will. This spot rests right between “it’s a small world” at the edge of Fantasyland and Haunted Mansion, making it insanely busy. It’s overly crowded almost constantly. We also don’t like to use this restroom purely out of protest.

Rapunzel deserves much more love than just some pretty restrooms, and we want Disney to hear our cries! She deserves more, and we are protesting. (Okay, maybe it’s just me, but I am protesting!)

If you’re looking for a travel agent to help with your vacation, we recommend our friends at Mouse Fan Travel. They’re experts in the field with over 20 years of vacation planning experience, and they can help take a bunch of the stress out of the entire booking process for you!

Next up, we’re talking about the Main Street Restrooms.

Main Street Restrooms

These are going to be the first restrooms you walk past when you enter the parks, and it shows. Most of the time, these bathrooms, which are located on the right side of City Hall, are super packed. Even outside, the pathway leading into the restrooms is jam-packed with people waiting for their family members or friends in the bathroom.

Finally, the bathrooms by the Adventureland Breezeway are getting a negative shoutout because, you guessed it, the crowds! This area is a cut-through that connects Adventureland and Frontierland, making it extra busy.

Frontierland Adventureland breezeway bathrooms

This area is congested most of the day, but especially after the parade passes through Frontierland and everyone and their mother use that time to use the restrooms. The lines get long, the hallways feel too cramped, and it’s just not a place I’m fond of.

You’ve been a trooper and listened to my bathroom complaints, so I’ll share one of my favorites! The bathrooms by Tron Lightcycle/Run are missed by most of the crowds and seem to be a bit more chill than the others.

There’s also a waterbottle refill station right outside of this restroom, too, so you can take care of some essential business easily.

Now, if you’re in an emergency situation and the restrooms we don’t love are the only ones near you, I get it! Don’t let me stand between you and your needs during your Disney trip.

Bathrooms

This list might be low on your planning priorities, but trust me, as someone who previously worked at the parks and was there every day, this information is of the utmost importance! As always, make sure you keep following AllEars for our hottest Disney tips and tricks.
