FIRST LOOK at NEW Float Coming to the Exclusive Nighttime Parade in Disney World

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a nighttime parade in Magic Kingdom, so the anticipation for Disney Starlight, a new nighttime parade, is really building.

The parade is set to premiere this summer and will introduce some beautiful new floats to Magic Kingdom, lighting up the night with both classic and modern Disney characters. You’ll see floats featuring Peter Pan, Frozen, Encanto, and more. However, Disney just unveiled concept art for ANOTHER float, and it’s for one of its most recent animated movies, Wish.

The new Wish float will feature the tree from the beginning of the film, as well as Asha and Valentino. The leaves of the tree and the flowers surrounding it will be all lit up, and according to this concept art, the effect will be spectacular.

Wish told the story of the famous Disney wishing star. Its premise will make for a beautiful addition to the Disney Starlight Parade. Other films represented in the parade include Moana…

Disney has not yet revealed a specific opening date for the parade, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for it. Of course, there’s even MORE to look forward to in Magic Kingdom this year, too, including the opening of the Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern, set to happen later this year.

Magic Kingdom is also getting a Cars expansion in Frontierland with two new rides, as well as a new Villains-themed land. We don’t have any definitive dates for either of those two projects, but we’ll keep our eyes out for more news.
