We already have a lot of news coming out of Destination D23 today!
We know that major changes are coming to the Country Bear Jamboree and we finally have an end timeline for the EPCOT Transformation. But, wait there is more.
It was announced today that a new Tavern is being imagined in Adventureland, which will “extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean”. This will be a place where “pirates of all ages gather to tell their tales”.
The barker bird will also be taking up residence at the new tavern.
Right now, the closest restaurant to Pirates of the Caribbean is Tortuga Tavern…so could this be a replacement for that? Or is it going in an entirely new spot? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Stark white walls and no themeing and no personality? Like all the recent crappy resort re-“imagining”. Are they gonna rearrange Tortuga Tavern furniture and call it new? Are they gonna put tables in Pirate’s League and call it a lounge?…I love pirates but hate Disney these days. I may never see it.
