BREAKING: Major Changes Announced for Country Bear Jamboree in Disney World

We just got a HUGE announcement for Magic Kingdom!

The park has seen some exciting additions with TRON Lightcycle / Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on the way, but now we’ve got more news from Magic Kingdom.

At Destination D23, Disney just announced that Country Bear Jamboree is getting a revamp. Yes, the classic Frontierland attraction featuring animatronic bears is going to look a little different in 2024.

Next year, The Country Bears will be learning some new songs and performing a COMPLETELY new act. The new show takes inspiration from classic Nashville variety shows. Disney even involved Nashville musicians to make the new arrangements for the songs.

Disney even premiered a brand new poster promoting the new Country Bear Musical Jamboree, opening in 2024. We even got to hear a rockabilly version of “Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book.


Disney Imagineer Chris Beatty said, “The music is going to be amazing, and the show will still have the fun and friendly tone that we all love about the Country Bears.”

Frontierland will soon be a construction zone with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure under construction until late 2024 and this newly announced project. Just as EPCOT approaches the end of its transformation, another park sees huge construction.
