Casey’s Corner is a great place for anyone who enjoys baseball and a good old-fashioned hot dog!

Casey’s Corner is located on the corner of the Main Street, U.S.A shops in Magic Kingdom. It serves up delicious hot dogs with loads of toppings, mini corn dogs, and loaded fries. For those who want to enjoy a tasty hot dog, just like at a baseball field, this is the place to stop. Since it’s on the corner of Main Street, U.S.A., we thought we had a sneaky plan while we were in Magic Kingdom the other night, but it turned out to be a pretty horrible idea.
Casey’s Corner offers outdoor seating with umbrellas, so while it’s outside, you can stay pretty shaded from the sun or protected from a light rain while enjoying your food.

We decided that we wanted to stay and watch the fireworks the other evening at Magic Kingdom which are currently taking place at 8:30PM, and we came up with what we thought was gonna be a sneaky hack to viewing the show. See, normally Main Street, U.S.A. and the hub area directly in front of Cinderella Castle get super crowded, and everyone is asked to stand for the fireworks. So if you want to sit to see the show, your view may be a bit skewed.

We thought we could outsmart the crowds, so we hurried over to Casey’s Corner for a late dinner around 8:30 PM, sat down to eat our meal, and happily sat down to watch the fireworks show! We thought this was going to be a genius plan, you know get to sit and see the show instead of having to stand… but it turned out to be terrible.

As you might notice in the following picture, the view from Casey’s Corner is very red, white, and green. If the umbrellas are open, they completely block your view of the castle where all the fun projections are shown. And beyond the umbrellas are a bunch of trees, decor, and people (especially during the fireworks) that completely block the castle and a good view of the sky. Also, the crowds in this area were a bit overwhelming as people tried to hustle around the find a view for the show and people later hustled away after the show ended.

What we hoped would be a relaxing view of the fireworks while getting to sit down, turned out to be a not so great view, after all. However, if you want a guaranteed good view of the fireworks, Disney does offer dessert parties for the fireworks where you can enjoy lots of sweet treats and a dedicated viewing area. Otherwise, if you don’t want to pay for a dessert party, we recommend finding a spot on the street at least an hour before the show starts!

You can currently see the Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom or the exclusive Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Nighttime shows at Disney World are tons of fun, so we hope you get to experience them on your next trip. You just might not want to sit at Casey’s Corner to watch.

We sat outside Cosmic Ray’s
At least you got to sit at a table and watch. We tried that and all the tables were taken by people not even eating! We had to take our tray into the crowd and find a seat on the ground to eat while we waited for the fireworks! It was terrible but we did have a better view once it started!
Long time Disney attending. Here are some pro tips.
Ordering food just before closing at any restaurant isn’t a good idea. I don’t do this because all I can imagine is them scraping the last food out of the barrel and serving it to me. Also, you should scope out your position for fireworks well before the time that they start.
