If there is one thing most people know about Disney World, it is probably that it is usually pretty crowded. And with crowds, come waits, and sometimes it can feel like all you end up doing in Disney World is wait around.
However, we are here with the perfect attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to add to your list for a bit of relaxation and to take a break from waiting in line.
Don’t get us wrong, the waiting is WORTH it. There is nothing quite like riding on the back of a banshee during Avatar Flight of Passage or seeing lions, zebras, giraffes, and more on Kilimanjaro Safaris. However, we know first-hand how exhausting it can be to stand in line all day long.
That is why we are here with an amazing attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom that usually has NO WAIT. But that is not all! In addition to having a super short wait, you can also bring food and drinks into this attraction.
We are raving about Feathered Friends in Flight which is located in the Asia area of Animal Kingdom. This show gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the free-flying birds of Animal Kingdom. You get to join animal behavior specialists and learn about how they care and train for their feathered friends.
We feel like this show is often overlooked for some of the other attractions in Animal Kingdom. However, we think this show is so much fun and it provides the perfect way to get a bit of rest in during your day. You can also chow down on some snacks while learning about birds.
Make sure you check the My Disney Experience app for all the showtimes and arrive a bit early so you can pick out your perfect seat. As well, feel free to bring in some food and drink to enjoy during the show. Then sit back, relax, and enjoy an entertaining show that you didn’t have to wait hours for.
