You can’t go wrong with a classic Disney World snack.

There are so many snacks to choose from, such as churros, Mickey Pretzels, popcorn, and Mickey Premium Bars. One of the most iconic and possibly even sought-after Disney World snacks is a DOLE Whip. DOLE Whip is best known for its Pineapple flavor, but from time to time, Disney adds new flavors and even creates fun limited-time floats. We were so happy when we found out that our favorite limited-time DOLE Whip Floats stuck around past their original limited-time run.
In most cases, people go to Magic Kingdom at Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace to get their DOLE Whips. Or people venture on over to the Polynesian Village Resort to grab a DOLE Whip at Pineapple Lanai. But it is not just the Magic Kingdom and the Polynesian that have this deliciously refreshing treat.

Limited-run DOLE Whip treats pop up all around Disney World. For example, this summer, EPCOT got a limited edition DOLE Whip Cherry-Pineapple Swirl cone to celebrate DOLE Whip Day which takes place annually on the third Thursday of the month.

Disney Springs even has a stand dedicated to DOLE Whip called Swirls on the Water.

We love that Disney is adding more and more locations to pick up this tasty treat, and we were so excited when we found that our favorite DOLE Whip Float would be making a return.

The Zazu Float can be found in Animal Kingdom at Trilo-Bites. The Zazu Float is lime-flavored DOLE Whip swirled into Sprite with coconut and blue curaçao syrup. Initially, this float was supposed to “fly away” on September 6th as it was part of a limited-time run of Lion King-themed treats to celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary, but it is still on the menu! We are not complaining because this DOLE Whip is super close to one of our all-time favorite DOLE Whip Floats!

Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom used to be home to the Peter Pan Float. This float consisted of Key Lime soft serve paired with Sprite and topped with a chocolate feather decorated to look just like the one on Peter Pan’s hat.

The ingredients of this float are super similar to the ones that make up the Zazu Float. We performed a very serious experiment to see if we could mimic the Peter Pan Float by removing some ingredients from the Zazu Float. When we went to the window to order, we asked them to hold the coconut swirl, and just like that, we had a dupe for the Peter Pan Float!

Regardless of whether you order the Zazu Float as is or make it the Peter Pan Float dupe, this treat is fun and refreshing, and if you’re a big fan of lime, you’ll probably love it! On the other hand, if you prefer more subtle flavors, you might want to stick to the regular Pineapple DOLE Whip.

If you are looking to get a classic DOLE Whip, you can find it at Tamu Tamu Refreshments inside Animal Kingdom.

We don’t know how much longer this float will be around, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will stay on the menu! Make sure to keep following along with AllEars so you can stay up to date on all the latest Disney news!
