If you’ve been questioning whether or not Disney World’s recently revised Lightning Lane system is worth trying out on your next visit, the cheapest time to use it is coming up soon!
We’ve experimented with Disney World’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass system for weeks to help you understand and use it to your best advantage. If you’ve been holding out on purchasing it to try it out yourself, the cheapest day we’ve seen it since its debut is almost here.
Ever since Lightning Lane Multi Pass debuted over the Summer, it seems that for the most part, things have been running pretty smoothly with its new set up. While every new system has its bugs and kinks to work out with use, overall, we’ve noticed a difference in how simple it can be to really use once you understand it.
As a reminder, Lightning Lane Multi Pass replaced the former Genie+ system when it debuted, but the free Genie suggestions for attractions, meet and greets, and rides still remains in the My Disney Experience app. However, with it’s debut also came a similar price tag that we were used to seeing with Genie+.
Since this new system started, we’ve seen the prices for this service hover around the $25 mark for Magic Kingdom and hold steadily. However, all that is about to change on September 4th because we’ve noticed these prices have taken a nosedive down to just $20 for Magic Kingdom’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass!
EPCOT will follow suit by dropping a couple of dollars down to $15 while Disney’s Hollywood Studios will also be at its lowest at $20 on September 4th.
As we venture further into the Fall season with schools back in session, and most adults settling back into regular work routines, we’ve seen crowd levels drop a bit around this time in the past. It makes sense that if Disney World is anticipating some of the crowds tapering off a bit, that they would be willing to drop the price for Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
It will be interesting to see if we continue to see prices stay around this price range for a bit or if another record low price is on the horizon for Disney World’s system.

The parks are virtually empty right now on Wednesday, 9/4! As of 9:35 EDT, 7 Drawfs has a posted wait of 45 with Pirates at 5 minutes and Haunted Mansion a rare 13 minutes (code for its a walk-on!); At HS, Rise and Slinky are at 40 minutes, and at AK, Flight of Passage also 40 minutes. These are 1/3 of the usual posted waits, and I’d be willing to bet the actual waits are closer to 30 minutes. So LLSP or LLMP aren’t needed, hence why the price has been dropped to a historic low.
