AE reader Shawn shared, “I’m super pumped for it. I hope it’s amazing!” Brittanie echoed the sentiment with, “I am super excited because I have liked villains since I was a child. Maleficent and Ursula are my favorites.”

AE reader Maiana shared, “I’m very excited about this land and I hope we get a good representation of different villains. I also hope they create some sort of entertainment like a show, parade, or experience for guests to enjoy ( in addition to the rides). Can’t wait to see what they come up with for restaurants and snacks. It has to be very immersive in order to get the full effect.”

Could Do Without It

Next up, there was a sizable portion of you who would rather do without it.

To that point, AE reader Heather shared, “I don’t care for it. I get the appeal especially when thinking of Descendants but I don’t care for it, other than it taking some of the crowds to that land while I enjoy the rest of the park. Lol”

And, AE reader Cindy echoed with, “I don’t like it. Magic Kingdom is supposed to be happy and fun. Little kids won’t like it. I think the higher ups have ruined Disney. When you are there you no longer feel the magic!”

I’ve Got Some Complicated Feelings About It

The last group of you shared that when it comes to the Villains Land coming to the Magic Kingdom, let’s say that you’ve got complicated feelings about the proposition.

Next up, we’ve got Jan with, “Meh. Excited. But I’m more excited about other things.” And Katie with the last word, “I don’t think it fits thematically within the Magic Kingdom.”

  1. Considering how long it takes Disney to build one ride, a whole land is gonna take about a decade, so I’m not holding my breath.

  2. I think its great and its about time.i mean you have the good guys lands why not vilin land there just as much part of the movies if you didn’t have the vilins you wouldn’t have the story you have the good and the bade look at that new movie sires with the vilin kids coming to incandescent kingdom I don’t remember the name but I thought it was cute because everyone forgets about the vilins and that’s wrong also I think Disney is thinking about the older kids not just the little ones
