If you are still traumatized from your first viewing of It’s Tough to Be a Bug in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you are not alone.
Animal Kingdom has some pretty amazing attractions including Avatar Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safaris, but we have heard some pretty strong opinions about one of the attractions that may be located inside of the Tree of Life and might be full of bugs.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug isn’t all bad though. The show does a great job of immersing you into the world of A Bug’s Life and making you feel like you are right in the middle of the action. People are often surprised by the various effects and seeing a giant grasshopper animatronic. However, there is no doubt it has been entertaining guests since it opened.
We are currently at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event and we are attending the Disney Experiences Showcase. The Disney Experiences Showcase is all about the Disney parks and we are getting some HUGE announcements during this panel.
Well, Josh D’Amaro and the rest of the team have definitely delivered! We just got a big announcement about It’s Tough to Be a Bug.
We knew that a new Zootopia show would be replacing it in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But now we have more news!
The new show will be called Zootopia: “Better Zoogether“ and will debut at Animal Kingdom next winter!

No other details have been released yet, but we’re excited to have confirmation on the new show and that it’s officially in the works!
