After four years, the wait is almost over!

After all the previews and technical rehearsals, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom is about to open to the general public in exactly ONE WEEK!
Scheduled to open on June 28th, 2024, the wait for Magic Kingdom’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is just about over and everyone can FINALLY experience this brand-new attraction!

Replacing Splash Mountain, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is a log flume ride that takes passengers on a journey one year after the events of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. Riders will journey along the bayou as Tiana prepares for a Mardi Gras party. Along the way, you’ll see familiar faces, be on the lookout for party band members, and even shrink to the size of a frog!

Opening day on June 28th will also have an exclusive commemorative print package at Tiana’s Bayou General Store for purchase. Regular on-ride attraction photos can also be purchased and viewed via Disney PhotoPass on the My Disney Experience app.

Opening day will also feature new merch and themed snacks, so if you’re lucky enough to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure on Day 1, be sure to take advantage of these offerings!

To ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, you’ll need to join the Virtual Queue. Virtual queues can be accessed at 7AM (can be outside Magic Kingdom) and 1PM from inside Magic Kingdom. Both queues will be found via the My Disney Experience app.
As of this writing, Disney has not announced when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will move to a standby queue.

Additionally, the ride will be available as a Lightning Lane on Genie+. To utilize this option, be sure to purchase Genie+ for Magic Kingdom or take advantage of the multi-park option. We expect Lightning Lane spots to fill up quickly for this ride at first, so we recommend booking this first as soon as reservations open at 7AM.
