We got to check out at a NEW Disney restaurant.

Tokyo DisneySea’s new Fantasy Springs land is finally ready to open after years of construction and COVID-delays. The new section of the park features mini-lands full of new attractions, restaurants and shops based on Frozen, Tangled, and today’s topic: Peter Pan.
Despite having a massive presence at Disney parks since Disneyland first opened back in 1955, Peter Pan’s Never Land is the first full-fledged land based on the property. It features two attractions, and our subject today: The Lookout Cookout restaurant, which is themed after the hideout of Peter Pan’s allies the Lost Boys from the Disney adaptation of the classic story.

Quincy and Emma are in Tokyo getting a preview of Fantasy Springs before it opens on June 6th! We were able to sample some of the restaurant’s food today, as well as take note of the decor, which is based on the concept of the Lost Kids using parts of a shipwreck to construct their hideout. The walls are covered with drawings done by the Lost Kids.

These drawings are the only representation of the Lost Kids however, as real versions of their well-known animal costumes hang above diner’s heads. We have to admit, these may cross over the line from cute to just a wee bit creepy.

This theming extends to the food’s packaging, which contains adorable images both on the front…

… and on the back.

Even the brownies maintain the Never Land theming.

Lookout Cookout allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the world of Peter Pan and the Lost Kids, and enjoy a solid meal to boot. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Fantasy Springs coverage.
